From Douz to the Heart of the Sahara Desert Your unforgettable journey begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Douz. Meet your friendly local driver and settle into a comfortable, air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle. The adventure starts as you head toward Tunisia’s largest national park, home to elegant gazelles, fennec foxes, and the desert’s iconic Rhanterium (daisy flower). Enjoy a traditional Tunisian lunch and a short rest before meeting your Bedouin guide and mounting your camel for an incredible trek through the towering golden dunes of the Sahara.
