  • The tour starts at 5:30 AM; pickup will be between 4:00 and 5:30 AM.
  • This experience requires good weather. If canceled due to poor weather, you'll be offered a different date or a full refund.

What To Expect

Day 1:

From Douz to the Heart of the Sahara Desert Your unforgettable journey begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation in Douz. Meet your friendly local driver and settle into a comfortable, air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle. The adventure starts as you head toward Tunisia’s largest national park, home to elegant gazelles, fennec foxes, and the desert’s iconic Rhanterium (daisy flower). Enjoy a traditional Tunisian lunch and a short rest before meeting your Bedouin guide and mounting your camel for an incredible trek through the towering golden dunes of the Sahara. As the sun begins to set, take breathtaking photos of the glowing horizon. Meanwhile, your Bedouin host will prepare a delicious campfire dinner under the stars.

Day 2:

Sunrise Magic & Bedouin Life Experience Wake up early to witness a spectacular desert sunrise and enjoy a tasty breakfast in the dunes. Continue your camel trek deeper into the Sahara, surrounded by endless golden landscapes. At midday, stop for a lunch break, where your Bedouin guide will reveal the ancient secret of baking bread on fire—a cherished desert tradition. After lunch, ride again until sunset, and gather around the campfire for another authentic Bedouin dinner beneath a sky full of stars.

Day 3:

Farewell to the Desert & Return to Douz Start your final morning with an incredible panoramic view of the Sahara dunes. After breakfast, continue your camel ride and capture the last moments of your desert adventure. At midday, you’ll reach Timbaine Luxury Camp, where a delicious farewell lunch awaits. Relax and soak in the final views before returning comfortably to Douz, bringing home memories that will last a lifetime.
