Tag 1:
Tunis → Kairouan → Tozeur
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Tunis, Hammamet, or Sousse by your friendly private driver and guide. Travel to Kairouan, Tunisia’s spiritual capital, and discover the magnificent 9th-century Aghlabid Basins, masterpieces of early Islamic engineering.
Continue to the Great Mosque of Kairouan, the oldest in North Africa, admired for its grand architecture and serene atmosphere. Visit the revered Mausoleum of Sidi Sahbi, linked to one of Prophet Mohamed’s companions, and gain insight into Tunisia’s rich cultural traditions.
Enjoy a traditional Tunisian lunch in the Kairouan Medina before heading south toward Tozeur, an oasis city at the edge of the Sahara. Upon arrival, check in to your 4-star hotel and unwind with a delicious dinner after a day filled with culture and discovery.

Tozeur → Chebika → Tamerza → Mides → Douz
After a hearty breakfast, set out to explore the mountain oases of Chebika, Tamerza, and Mides, where waterfalls, canyons, and palm-fringed cliffs create breathtaking desert scenery.
Then, step into cinematic history at the Ong Jemel Star Wars film set, one of the most famous filming locations in Tunisia. After lunch in Tozeur, travel across the vast Chott el Djerid salt lake, known for its shimmering mirages and colorful reflections.
Arrive in Douz, the “Gateway to the Sahara,” where your Sahara Desert adventure begins. Choose your ride—camel, 4×4, or quad (ATV)—to reach your desert camp. As night falls, enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner and gather around a campfire under the starlit sky, with the rhythmic beats of desert drumming to complete this unforgettable evening.

Douz → Matmata → Tataouine → Djerba
Wake up to the silence of the desert and enjoy breakfast before departing for Matmata, home to the fascinating troglodyte houses—underground dwellings carved into the rock.
After lunch, continue toward Tataouine, stopping at Ksar Hadada, a stunning fortified granary perched atop a hill (and another Star Wars filming location). Visit Ksar el Ferch and the Seven Sleepers Mosque of Chenini, where history and Berber culture merge beautifully.
By evening, arrive on the island of Djerba and check in to your 4-star hotel, where a relaxing dinner awaits after a day full of exploration and desert landscapes.

Djerba → El Jem → Tunis
